Matt Wilhelm comes to Forest Lake Elementary

Matt Wilhelm Presentation

On May 4, X-Games Biker Medalist and America's Got Talent finalist, Matt Wilhelm visited FLE!  Matt performed a variety of amazing bike stunts and tricks during his presentation.  He also shared powerful messages with the students regarding kindness, not bullying others and working hard in school with a focus of going to college.  Matt's visit was possible due to the success of the PTA sponsored candy bar sale this winter.  Pictured with Matt Wilhelm were the top 10 student sellers who received autographs and a chance to meet and talk with Matt before his presentation.

Walk-a-Thon


It's time for our spring Walk-a-Thon Fundraiser! The money our students raise will be used for technology needs at both, FLE and FVE. Every student will benefit in some way from the money we raise. We are asking that each student raise $30.

The Walk-a-Thon will be held on Friday, May 11th. Students will walk from 2:30-2:55 on the track behind FLE. In case of rain, students will alk laps in school .

If students raise $10,000 or more, Principal Ion and Principal Urness (FVE) will be spending an evening camping on the roof of Forest View Elementary.

PTA Officer Elections

The FLE/FVE PTA will be holding officer elections at the next meeting on May 14 at 6:30 PM in the FVE Media Center.  These officer positions are vital to all the efforts the PTA has toward supporting the students, staff and families of FLE and FVE.  If you are interested in learning more about the officer positions, please contact current PTA President Jeannette Maxfield at:  jmaxfield@flaschools.org.

Latest News

End of the year near

Please take time to check with your child to be sure all library books are turned in, as the end of the school year is not far away.  It's a good idea to remind students to check our lost and found for items lost and need to be found again!

Next Year Bussing

If your child will be picked up or dropped off at a different location other than your home address, a Change of Transportation Form will need to be completed. These forms are available in the FLE office and must be turned in here by August, to be sure bussing is in place for the start of school in September. This form needs to be completed every year.
